Asm. Addis was elected to the California State Assembly in 2022, and reelected in 2024. She represents the coastal 30th Assembly District. A special education teacher who taught in public schools for over 20 years, Dawn served in her teacher's union holding leadership positions at the school site and executive board levels.

Sen. Weber Pierson is a medical doctor, educator, former City Councilmember, San Diego native, wife and mom of four boys. Dr. Weber Pierson is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and past director of the Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Division at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
